NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Charles Hawkins Co. is pleased to announce that industry veteran R. Stephen
Prather has earned the title of First Vice President.

Prather has been a commercial real estate agent since 2007. His primary business focus is the leasing,
sales and acquisition of commercial properties in the greater Metropolitan Nashville area.

Prior to joining the Charles Hawkins Co., Mr. Prather spent two years earning an MBA degree from
Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Before returning to school, Mr. Prather worked in
Washington, D.C. for nearly four years as a Deputy Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Jim Bunning and as
a Legislative Assistant for U.S. Congressman John Shadegg.

“The First Vice President title represents the willingness and ability to develop and execute a focused
business plan that consistently provides real estate solutions for the broker’s clients over an extended
period of time,” said company Director, Patrick Brakefield.

With this achievement, Prather joins fellow Charles Hawkins Co. First Vice Presidents Robert Stout, J.P.
Lowe, Bruce Reed, Matt Woodard, and Tee Patterson.
